Are you licensed & insured?

Yes, we are licensed to perform moves locally and throughout the United States. Our interstate authority is MC#806090, USDOT#1645107. Our Florida Intrastate Mover number is FL-IM2038.

Are you a moving broker?

No. We are a carrier. We do not subcontract our work to other companies.

Do you subcontract work to other companies?

No. We do not subcontract work to other companies. We haul all of our own bookings.

Are you licensed with the FMCSA?

Yes, we are required by law to be licensed with the FMCSA to perform interstate moves. A motor carrier (MC) number is issued by the FMCSA to licensed movers. Our MC# is 806090. You can verify compliance and licensing of a mover at the FMCSA Licensing Portal.

Are your employees background checked & drug tested?

Yes, our employees are background checked and drug tested.

What is your rating with the BBB?

We have an A+ with the Better Business Bureau. We are a BBB accredited business.

Estimates & Pricing

Do you offer in-home estimates?

Yes, we offer free in-home estimates in our local service area. We also utilize today’s technology for virtual or software-based estimating if needed.

Do you offer binding estimates?

We do offer binding estimates on interstate shipments when an exact knowledge of what is being moved is available.

Are there hidden fees?

No. We do not have any “hidden” fees. All relevant charges are itemized on our estimates based on the information collected regarding the scope of work.

How do you charge for local and in state moves?

Local moves are done on an hourly basis. In state moves are generally done on an hourly basis while loading and unloading and the transportation charge is a set rate.

How do you charge for interstate moves?

Interstate move charges must be with a published rate tariff. The charges are calculated by weight. Be cautious of any mover charging by the cubic foot exclusively, movers of varying skill will use different amount of cubic feet.

Do you require a deposit?

We do not require a deposit. On rare occasions, if a deposit may be needed if the origin address is not local to our area. Be cautious of any mover requesting a deposit period, unless possibly a very small amount to hold the date. If the deposit amount is over a small amount, find another mover.

What forms of payment do you accept?

On local moves we accept cash, personal check or credit cards. On long distance moves we accept cash, certified check, credit card or bank transfers.

Moving Services

Do you offer out-of-state moving?

Yes, we service SWFL throughout the United States. We are one of only 2 companies physically located in Charlotte County licensed to move interstate.

Do you do office and commercial moving?

Yes. We offer office and commercial moving for all size companies! We have moved everything from 1 room offices to entire county departments, including the fine men & women of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Dept.

What services are included?

Standard practices for a move include disassembly and reassembly of common furniture including beds, tables, and dresser mirrors, etc. Pad wrapping of all wooden furniture surfaces and stretch wrapping cloth if needed. We do not disconnect or connect water lines. We do not hang pictures or TV brackets.

Do you offer packing services?

Yes. We offer partial and complete packing services.

Do you offer loading and unloading services?

Yes. We offer services to load and/or unload your truck or container(s).

Do you offer storage?

Yes. We offer storage services.

Do you custom crate delicate items?

Yes. Crating services are available.

Do you ship cars?

We can ship cars on long distance moves when being moved with the household goods shipment. We generally do not accept jobs when a vehicle is the only items to be moved. Please call for exceptions.

Scheduling & Equipment

How much lead time do you need?

Normally a couple weeks or so is good. Although many times, depending on scheduling, we can get to things quicker, sometime as soon as the same day! The better planning you have for your move, the smoother it usually goes.

What size trucks do you have?

We have 26 ft. moving vans and a semi tractor and trailer. We can handle any size move!

Packing & Preparation

Do Tv’s need to be packed?

Yes. Tv’s should be packed for transport.

Do you disassemble my bed?

Yes. Simple disassembly and reassembly are included.

What items can not be packed in cartons?

Chemicals, perishables, valuables, plants, aerosols, necessary medications, cash, passports, and certain other personal documents.

Can I pack food?

On a direct move from home to home, dry and can foods are acceptable. If your items are going into storage only take canned food.

Protection & Coverage

What coverage options do you offer?

We offer the standard coverage required by law to operate. The free coverage that comes with any local or long-distance mover covers $0.60/lb per article. Full Value Protection coverage is also available. The minimum coverage amount for this is figured at $6.00/lb. (Example – 5000 lbs minimum coverage is $30000). This option calls for a deductible choice for cost of coverage.
